This was my parts car. Found it on 3si.org in california for 500 bucks.. it cost me more to ship the car to NY.. the previous owner put an ENORMOUS ammount of work into this salvage title gem.. including a new motor, clutch, alternator, battery, and a laundry list of other things.. he even converted this car to the TT auto climate control. He couldnt figure out why the car didnt run properly, and paid DEARLY... another lesson why not to take your car to a dealer... the problems ended up being A: variable intake system butterflys installed backwards (this was the reason for the low RPM hesitation) and B: the car had the wrong MAS on it, which he bought NEW from MITSU. I promptly tracked down the problems and had a great car for 500 bucks!
I drove it unregistered and on the california plates for about 5 months, without being harrassed by law "enforcement" found the red car up there with a clean title, and yanked the motor out of the black one.. parted it out and made about 3500 bucks.. not bad for a 1100 dollar investment... its sitting as a shell right now with new kyb struts on it...
