This truck is potentially for sale. If you are interested, send me a note.
I am not in a hurry on this. I have no idea what it is worth, and am open to offers.
180k miles, motor rebuilt less than 2000 ago. Runs strong, needs work to be a DD.
My family bought this new in '85. Odo stopped a while back and was swapped to a new cluster, but it is still running, and fairly strong at that. This thing has been all over the country, has seen some airtime and through it all it just keeps going.
This has the original drivetrain all the way through, with a recent engine refresh being the only major work done.
This has been a work horse for two decades. Retired from active duty in 2005.
Dec 28
New plates and Texas registration on car. New wiper blades also.
Dec 27
The battery had drained off slightly but it took a charge, started up and the alternator is working fine. PS fluid was low; there is a leak. Topped off. Coolant was clean and full. Trans fluid is clean and full.
It takes a bit to warm up, but everything is good. Went around the block. Brake fluid could use a change.

Open air element filter
True dual exhaust
Everything is factory but the shocks.
All original
New starting harness, ground and battery terminals.
5 1'2s in the front, 6x9s in the rear
It does currently need a new deck to power said speakers.
Driver's seat is broken. Need to replace or tack weld the frame together.
Rear end howls. Still works, and is LSD, but it is noisy.
Brakes need to be bled.
PS pump is leaking. No noise, just a slow seep.
Currently outfitted with an Edelbrock 4 barrel with a non emissions air filter. Have OEM setup, including stock 2 bbl intake manifold as well.
Paint is 24 years old, and mostly looks it. I buffed out the front QP and it looks great with wax, but the whole truck needs that process. It could look pretty good from 10 feet, but it looks like not being garaged is taking a toll.
The tint is peeling off one of the sides.
