About this Current Vehicle:

It's a 99 Dakota with a 2.5 four banger. So i guess you could say i'm just goin all for looks. Much work has been done to this thing just to get it straight and smooth. Replacing a bedside and passenger door, lots of welding, sanding, filling, tapping, hammering, banging, clobbering!!! I have to say it turned out better than i expected. Anything u would like to ask feel free! Enjoy!

Factory Options:

Nuthin special. Everything's manual: locks, doors, transmission. it did come with fog lights and painted bumper and grille which doesn't really matter now, lol. It's a dakota sport with a 2.5 so there's nuthin really sporty about that

Exterior Modifications:

let's see, 1 piece smoked headlights, euro taillights, shaved third brake light, shaved hood emblem, shaved antenna, and shaved tailgate handle, street scene rollpan, 20 inch dakota r/t replica rims with 275/40/20 toyo proxes, nason deep forest green effect and brilliant black sparkle basecoats with house of color clear.

Interior Modifications:

smoothed and painted satin black(in progress right now), painted and cleared dash peice, and to set it off... tha barefoot gas pedal!!! i'll soon put in a different console from a dakota that's the all plasticpeice between the seats getting rid of the bench style seating and then upgrading to black leather on my seats

Performance:

ummmm, a k&n air filter. ha ha, a new water pump, thermostat, freeze plugs, and clutch! whoopty do! i wouldn't waste my money tryin to hop up my engine. i'd be better off buyin another dak with a v8. i jus try to keep my lil ole 4 banger runnin the best it can, and i have to say it runs very well for 120,000 miles with a engine for a car pullin a truck.

now i'm gonna try and see if this lil engine can gain sum horses now that i got tha body work done. all u v6 v8 junkies are gonna laugh at me but someone's gotta do it. i'm gonna turbocharge my lil 2.5. i saw a guy that did it to his jeep and he said it runs about 240 horsepower. the 2.5 jeep engine is the same 2.5 in my truck. 240 horses is pretty good for a lil truck like mine. that's like havin a 5.2 318 under my hood with a lil less weight. not too shabby if u ask me. i'll be able to run like a v8 and still get 20 miles to tha gallon. let's just hope my engine can take it

Suspension/Chassis:

stock

Drivetrain:

sachs clutch kit!!! woo hoo

Electronics:

pioneer premier deck with a mb quart component system (tweeter built into door panel), two solo baric l5 8's pushed by a memphis 1000. hidden antenna (IT SUCKS)! installed l.e.d. bulbs from jam strait in turning signals and taillamps, and use piaa bulbs in headlights

To-Do List:

N/A
