Numbers matching (title & vin tags only!) 70 Challenger getting "the treatment"
To Date-
• New Quarter Panels & extensive rust repair (removed and replaced)
• Pinch Seams removed for maximum ground clearance
• Stock floor, firewall, and unibody frame removed
• Custom10 gauge Inner-rocker supports fabricated to integrate the former unibody shell with the new custom tubular chassis
• Fenders: Wheel openings moved forward 2 inches and up 1 inch; marker lights shaved, custom machined fender mounts at the rocker
• Firewall moved back 4 ½” from the stock location
• Door Hinges rebuilt
A blank slate (other than the roll cage) so far....
• HEMI SRT-8 6.1L crate motor – 425 HP & 420 ft.lb torque with 10.3:1 compression in stock form (twin turbos in the works)
• QuickTime Bellhousing and LENCO High-Gear bearing and shaft
• MOPAR PERFORMANCE flywheel and hi-torque mini-starter
Custom tube chassis
• Designed and built to the Challenger body and engineered to be driven low & handle well…
• Corvette C5 front and rear independent suspension. Suspension design based off of factory geometry with modified track width specific to the Challenger and desired wheel size
• Ride height with coilover shocks (TBD) - 49” tall at the roof; 5” of ground clearance at the front of the rockers (lowest point of the car). Nothing will “hang” below the frame.
• Fully TIG welded 1.5” & 1.0” DOM 0.120” wall tubing
• Roll cage designed and fabricated to closely match interior profile of the car with rolled tubing and smooth flowing bends throughout
• Custom bracketry machined in-house: Front and rear motor plates, transmission mounts, lower differential bracket, A-arm mounting tabs w/OEM style eccentric/cam adjustments, and driveline/bellhousing adapter
• Lower frame section removable with Summit Machine tube clamps
• Corvette C5 front and rear independent suspension. Suspension design based off of factory geometry with modified track width specific to the Challenger and desired wheel size
• Corvette C5 rear-mounted Tremec T56 six-speed transmission and Getrag differential.
• BAER Brakes – 15” two piece rotors and 6-piston Forged Aluminum MonoBlock 6S anodized calipers front & rear.
• ENKREUZ lightweight three-piece Forged Aluminum Wheels – 20 x 12’s in the rear and 19 x 8’s in the front
• Michelin Pilot 335/30 ZR 20” and 245/40 ZR 19” tires
will add details when the time comes...

• Additional custom sheetmetal work – wheel tubs front and rear, interior panels, front and rear lower valence treatments, shaved rear marker lights, modified door handles, fender vents and more…
• More One-Off machined aluminum parts will be integrated into the build...
• Coilover shocks (cantilevered in the rear)
• Headers, exhaust, intercooler plumbing, and induction will be designed and fabricated in-house
• Stand-alone engine management system
• Grill, headlamps, front and rear lower valences, and taillight updates
• Machined Aluminum hood hinges and functional hood and fender vents
• Additional metal work and rust repair
• Lead-filled seams at roofline
• Body lines and gaps worked over
