This is was 2002 TrailBlazer LS. Nothing fancy. I bought it to keep miles off of my 2006 Pontiac GTO. It also served as a grocery getter and was to be my family car. Me and my wife are expecting a child in March 9, 2008. At least I don't have to worry about baby vomit and child seats marking up the leather in the GTO, is what I thought, lol... That's what this was going to be for. Another plus is that it was 4WD which will come in handy for the harsh winter snow seasons. It was a great vehicle. Drove really nice, and didn't give you that "Oh crap this thing is going to roll over!" feeling when you go around bends. It had lots of room for seating and storgage, and I think it looked pretty sharp. There are a lot of SUVs on the road and I think the Trailblazer is definitely one of the better looking ones out there.
Unfortunately, this vehicle is wrecked. Thankfully though I survived the accident. Yesterday, December 31, 2007, I didn't think I would be here to see my wife, who is pregnant and due in March 2008. I was hit by a big-rig truck on the highway while I was driving home from working in NYC. I was sent airborn over a 9ft fence on the I-78 and landed in a field after rolling several times. The truck that hit me was no-where to be found. Hit and run. All I know is that when I was in the air, it felt like my vehicle was not moving and that it was really just the world that was spinning and not me. All I could think of was that I was going to be leaving my wife and child behind, because I was sure that I was not going to surive the landing. I even bought a baby suit off of ebay on Sunday while I was at work that isn't going to be delivered to my home in PA, until the end of this week. My wife would have recieved this after I would have already been gone. It was two hours before anyone found me, but thankfully I made managed to make it out of this accident without any serious injuries. I'm just happy to be home with my wife again, and to know that I will still be here when our baby is born, and to know that I will still be able to see my family and friends. I'm grateful for everyone in my life, especially, my wife, my child, my family, and my friend Chris who drove for two hours out to Hamburg, PA, in the middle of the night to make sure I was alright after my wife told him the news. So everyone make sure to keep your family and friends in your thoughts tonight as you celebrate the new year. Goodbyes can sometimes be sudden. Make the best of the time we have together.

Thats just depressing. Just glad to hear your OK. Thank you GM Safety Development Department. And that is true, you should always love your family like it is the last time you will see them.
Hey Jason, I totally missed your post on the TV site. Glad to see the ol gal did her job and kept you with us. Best of luck to you and your wife on the upcoming addition.
Nice Trailblazer man, keep up the good work. Check out my Blazer when you get a chance.
Great Truck! I drive one just like it in Dubai. Be careful... They don't like sand...
gotta have something to put the miles on...at least you got something nice to do it on
