still waiting for front suspension and transmission.
finally got the johnny joints for the rear suspension. hopefully I will get all the brackets made this week and get them welded onto the axle tubes, along with welding the tubes to the center section.
hoping for transmission and front suspension next week. I want to get this chassis rolling so bad. I need to get it rolling and get the cab back on.
welded a patch in one fender to fix the rust. prepped fenders and doors for priming, going to prime with southern polyurethanes black epoxy primer this weekend.

Putting up new photos.
Wheels/tires came in, fuel cell came in, still dont have front suspension.
Starting work today on the rear suspension, I am making a 3-link instead of a Satchell link because I couldnt make the lower links long enough due to the offset of the pinion on the 8.8. Bellhousing doesnt fit with the headers I have, bought shorty ones from sandersone that hopefully will fit. Fuel pump didnt fit, need an electric one. I need a transmission and a welder.

I'm on summer vacation, and I hope i can get alot done over break. I want to get the chassis rolling at least, with engine and transmission in place. I ordered wheels and tires. They are C5 knockoffs machined surface and black inbetween the spokes. The tires are Sumitomo HTR ZII.

Last week I scored an awesome deal on a Ford 8.8 rear axle. Paid $175 for it, and the inside was perfect, almost no wear. It has 4.10 gears and the ford traction lok unit. I will be rebuilding the traction lok with stronger carbon clutches. I am getting the axles and brake rotors redrilled to the chevy bolt pattern. The axle tubes are 3 1/4, huge compared to the puny s10 axle. It is wider than the stock axle, but that makes it perfect for fitting the high backspacing corvette wheels without a spacer. I still need a spacer in front though.
I am just waiting for the front suspension to come, The ATS spindles are on backorder, so the front will be stalled for around 3 weeks. I will be leveling the frame on blocks and mounting the motor, and mocking up rear suspension. It will be a satchell link which is 4 links: 2 above axle parallel, and 2 below axle, pointing into center from axle. There is alot of fabrication to be done on the rear suspension.
I will take pictures and post them as soon as possible.
