About this Current Vehicle:

This car was bought in the year 2000. It was purchased for my son at the price of $2500. The car was just a shell with no floors, trunk, quarter panels. I pretty mush paid for the tubing that is in the car. My son and i have been working on this car since the day we brought it home.

Factory Options:

N/A

Exterior Modifications:

The car has new quarter panels. which are from a 70 nova. The car is all steel besides the hood, trunk lid, and bumpers. The front bumper is a one off piece. Front lip is carbon fiber and hand made. rear and front bumpers are tucked closer to the car. 4 inch cowl hood with custom underside, guages hidden underneath the cowl for cleanliness. Custom parachute bracket that was hand made and is polished. Now for the big exterior mods is the paint and body. The body work alone took 2-3 months to get it to almost perfect. Never ending days of work got it to the point where no dents or waves are in the car. I didnt know what i wanted for paint, so i went to one of my good friends that paints cars for a living. He came to the house, looked at the car, and asked what i wanted. I told him that i wanted ghost flames that you could see. Not the ones that you can only see when your 2feet away from the car. I told him, i like the long flames with the licks at the end. He had a drawing on his paper, and said do you trust me with the car? I told him i did, and he took the car away on a trailor to get it painted. I called him a few days later and said, just do what you do best. Two weeks later he called me and said it was done. I went to pick it up, and the car was done, sitting in his driveway. Truthfully, i have seen many flame jobs throughout the years that are fantastic, and this is by far one of the nicest flame jobs ive ever seen. The pearl on the car is a lavender. It is all HAND DRAWN on the car. IF you look closely at the paint, you can see the paint is in layers. We lost count at 7 layers of paint and pearl. It is pearled all the way to the back of the doors. Another exterior mod would be the tri bar headlights i put in. They are only made for the street rods, so i came up with the idea of trying it out on a nova. So i orderd the tribar, and test fit it. It turned out, that some of the mounts, needed to be shaved down a bit to fit. After that, they fit like a glove. And to this day, i still havnt seen another nova with tribars.

Interior Modifications:

In the interior, we have custom seats that are fabricated by RaysInteriors. They are APC seats, but have been redone to our fitting. Seats have tempurpedic foam for the comfortable ride. Stiched in grey and black. The dash is stock, with a custom guage cluster. Custom center console with LEDs for indicators of what is on in the car. (ex: fuel pump, fans etc..) Roll cage with custom stiched pads.

Performance:

As far as the motor goes, it is supporting a 427 bored .030 over to a 434, 8.5:1 compression ratio, manley rods, funny car pistons, specialy ground blower cam from COMPcams with .699 Lift. Heads are from a 67 corvette 427 that has been ported and polished. Blower is a BDS from BigAlsToyBox in Conneticut. I am good friends with Big Al and he knows what hes talking about when it comes to blowers. It is 10% Over driven with twin 750 Proform Carbs. Hooker SuperComp Headers with 4 inch Borla XR-1 race mufflers. Blower straps are from Big Als, RC Belt Guard. No Junk in this motor. It is a very serious motor.

Suspension/Chassis:

Qa1 Coilover shocks all the way around, tubular upper and lower control arms, 4link rear suspension, square tube frame, custom driveshaft loop

Drivetrain:

Transmission is a fully built 400 with manuel reverse valve body, trans brake, and line lock. Tranny is about 2400$

Electronics:

N/A

To-Do List:

Smooth firewall, 2inch drop spindels, full funny car roll cage, and full custom interior, repaint car and maybe in the future, build a blown 540 for the car with alcohol injection :)

Tell your brother and Dad thanks for their service! My dad was a prison guard in the army during Nam at Fort Leavenworth and my uncle flew Hueys over in Vietnam. My sisters boyfriend is trying to get into the Airborne right now, he really wants it.
