1967 Chevrolet Nova
1967 Chevrolet Nova

About this Current Vehicle:

Purchased the car from its third owner in June 2005. It was all original minus tires, battery, plugs and alternator; with 68,000 miles. I knew the last two owners personally with the first owners owning the car for over 30 years as their daily driver to church and the market, etc.

The car is about 90% complete with a projected completion of FEB 07.

I am currently on month 10/12 in Baghdad and am looking forward to the 2007 car show and touring season.

Factory Options:

Originally a 283ci/ 2 spd Powerglide Sport Coupe.

www.c@rdom@in.com/ride/2265645 with additional photos; at least untilI get them all changed over to here.

Exterior Modifications:

Shaved door handles, side chrome removed, gas filler removed, billet grill, reworked, shaved, shaped and triple chromed front and rear bumpers, LED rears, HID fronts.

Interior Modifications:

Where do I start? OK...2006 GTO front and rear seats with custom red center panels. Handmade dash and center console. Autometer carbon fiber gauges, push button starting, billet knobs and pieces, everything else either new reproduction or handmade including speaker kickpanels.

Performance:

Bar any traction issues, I am hoping for sub 4 second 0-60 times with high 10 low 11 1320's. This is not a trailer queen nor a track car, but a versitile show and go Power Tour'n type project.

Engine Bench DYNO'd 563hp with carb.

Chasis DYNO is yet to come with FI and NOS.

Suspension/Chassis:

AirRide Air Bar in the rear and Shockwaves up front with key fob remotes.

Drivetrain:

Race built 383ci SBC with forged internals, aluminum ported and polished heads, 10:8 CR, titanium valve train, handmade sheet metal intake, twin 70mm throttle bodies, Accel Gen VII digital fuel injection, direct port 250hp nitrous oxide shot, griffin aluminum radiator with overflow and twin spal fans, MSD billet distributor, MSD coil, MSD wires, MSD Digital 7 programable ignition, 22 gallon fuel cell with Aeromotive fuel system and much, much more.

Keisler TKO 5 speed

Ford 9 inch rear, moser axels, Auburn pro gear, 4:10

Willwood 13's in front and 11's in the rear with Willwood master cylinder and proportioning valve.

BIllet Specialites GTX 10 17x8 on 215/40 in front and 18x9.5 on 275/35 in the rear.

Electronics:

Alpine head unit CD/DVD/MP3/ iPOD, JL Audio 300/4 running JL Audio component separates, JL Audio 500/1 running a JL Audio 10w7, JL Audio 300/1 running a 8w7, Stinger Farad capacitor, JL Audio wires throughout, twin Optima yellow tops in trunk

Completely covered in DynaMat Extreme.
