Originally made in 02/09/06, bought new on 03/31/07 with 12 miles. The car say on the obviously sat on the lot for a while. '07's are the same as '06 except the Engine Cover says Active Fuel Managment instead of Displacement On Demand and there is a 5 year100K warrenty on the powertrain.

LS4 5.3L Engine is a GEN4 Small Block V8 with a shorter crankshaft and FWD bellhousing bolt pattern to fit in the FWD spec W-body. Come with Displacement on Demend which shuts down 4 cylinders in low load conditions to aid in boosting fuel economy. This is done by controlling a set of special lifters that shut down the valves, timed just right it leaves a charge of exhaust gas in to aid in smoothness. The operation is seamless and virtually undetectable. the LS4 is also equpped with LS6 cylinder heads off from the early Corvette ZO6.This engine has been tuned to be easy to drive around town and fast when you drop the hammer. 303HP@5600, 325 TQ@4000 operation to 6000 RPM.

The 4T65-E HD automatic transaxle has been tried and proven for almost 20 years. With some fortification not ever done on previous 4T65-E HD's , this transaxle works very well with high power, high torque engines. The transaxle has a 3000 stall converter, starter mount provisions, and special equal mass driveaxles to dampen torque steer.
