This thing was awesome. All stock it carried me to school for two years. I love this thing, although right now it's pissing me the hell off. Bought it at Pate swap meet, and at the time I thought it was a rip, but now...damn it's clean underneath.

Need to tap some threads in a carter w-1 throttle shaft, hook up the linkages once I get the parts from mcmaster, go over the fluids with a fine-toothed comb, set up the mass choke linkage, do the wiring (ugh), get the springs in order (lowering the back), doing a front-end alignment...etc.

waterpump resolved, filter removed (oil filters were an option up to '62, and they were bypass. They basically do nothing), one carb left.
just have road draft tube, wiring, one carb, fuel line, and then it's time to start her up.

starter in, small waterpump issue - but i think i can solve it, all i have left after that is a carb to rebuild, linkage, and oil filter and I'm ready for first start
Clock delete, tube radio with presets, "high bird" hood ornament, bumperettes.
Lowered
None. Don't think I will either, looks great inside (four, read it, FOUR fucking ashtrays, bitch!). I might add a hidden stereo system in there. Lord knows a subwoofer'll fit in the trunk.
High-lift camshaft, 3x1 intake, dual cast-iron headers, and now a short-shift...because the column throw interferes with the headers, so it's not intentional but I'll have the only column shift with a short throw on it.
Independent front (knee-action shocks, coils, A-arms) and leaf springs on live rear axle (with torque tube) in back
Gearing's been changed from 4.22:1 to 3.55:1.
HAHAHA!
new flywheel, final carbs assembled, linkage attached, wiring, water pump to be shortened and installed, shift mechanism reinstalled, front sheetmetal put back on
