NFSINSANE's 1998 Chevrolet Malibu

Threw a rod hardcore, car is dead

1998 Chevrolet Malibu

About this Previous Vehicle:

I bought this car in March of 2006, it was roughly 4,900 bucks. It was used with about 130,000 mile on it. Ran really strong though. I've always loved cars so I decided it could use a bit of modification...maybe a lot. A lot of people say that it's a stupid car to mod, but I say I'll meet you on the line...

Vehicle Journal:

How does this happen

I was going home pretty late one night from a friends house an I was on the highway going about 75 mph when out of nowhere I see what looks like a small tree moving across the road then as I got closer I saw the beaver....(yes a beaver)...dragging it across the road, then splat...My power steering went dead and all my lights went dim. I drove about a mile before I pulled over. If it wasn't for my 100 farad dry cell I wouldn't have made it another 10 feet. I got out and it didn't do any body damage at all. No instead it broke my fog light bent my radiator to about 60 degrees snapped the radiator support in half, broke a fan and the shroud and shattered my A/C bypass pulley into about 10 different pieces. thank god for AAA. That was in October I think and I just got it back on the road about 2 weeks ago but I don't have internet access to update these things...so I'm at the town library haha

Jun 29

Things holding it back

Worn sturts up the butt
Partially clogged injectors
Broken Rear tranny mount
Possibly, not 100% yet, a bad cat
Failing alternator
PCM not in tune with mods

The list is made....it shall be fixed!
