My grandfathers first new car when he came to the United States in 1963 was a 1963 Impala SS with a 409 and a 4-speed. My father and I really want to build this car up exactly like he had his in memory of him.
We bought it from a guy who was over his head with the amount of work needed to complete the car. He really didn't have to knowledge or skill to complete such a restoration, so most of the work that he did has to be redone correctly.
