Originally a Florida, then a Georgia car, I bought this car from TN. Numbers matching BB upgraded to cruiser status, fresh paint, 5 speed. Air converted to 134a standard. Not long after I bought it, the motor took a powder, was not as advertised so currently I have the entire car apart, building 555cuinch motor, Tom's rear, Son of Tranzilla tranny, flares, new hood, new wheels, new car.
There will be articles in Corvette Enthusiast on the motor, on the car itself as the project is completed. Engine dyno'd at 849.2hp.
In attached link are videos where we took the car to the track for the first time.
Enjoy!

Had a 454 originally. Motor was redone with cheap parts before I bought it and motor took a powder.
Fender flares all around done by Stan at 2nd Generation Restorations in Boston. Wheels from Vintage Wheel Works. L88 long hood.
Replaced all gauges with Autometer Cobalt series gauges plus Alpine deck. Will be adding roll cage but have Sharbar rack for the moment to use with 5 link harness. Seats redone all leather.
555cu all motor. No juice, blowers or turbos for me. Dart Block and heads, SRP pistons,Holley HP1000 carburetor, VIcJr intake worked by Wilson, Aeromotive fuel pump and regulator, March serpentine system with lots of bling. More later.
QA1 2x adjustable Coilovers in front, QA1's 2x adjustable with 7 leaf Tom's spring in the rear. Tom's rear end, 4180 half shafts, safetyloops
Rockland/G-Force Son of Transzilla 6 speed tranny
Mcleod RST dual disk clutch
Hydraulic clutch, Tom's rear 4180 half shafts, safety loops
N/A
Roll cage
Re-route hydraulic lines so don't have to bleed them so often.
Installing Hot Rod Air system
Connect up the Alpine.
Move fuel regulator
Finish underhood wiring and underdash wiring.
Buy my own drag wheels and slicks
Strip the body down to the fiberglass, then work layers of gelcoat until car is perfect, then we will paint.
Having fun. Too much to list right now.

Looking forward to the articles. After hearing Jim talk about it, I am very intrigued about it.
It was good getting to see the car run down the quarter mile in BG. Hope to see you at the cruise in again next year.
This car is really coming along. New motor (555) is assembled and running. Will do dyno testing early April then put it in the car.!!!
Great looking car. That Texas bunch sure has a big influence. Hope to have mine at Cruise In next year.
That car belongs to someone on this Board. I'm sure I will never get my hands on that car. I'm probably not a good enough driver to make it worth while anyway. I have under-driven cars for years.
