Yes, there is a "system" and I'm sure at the time it was installed in early 2003 it was state of the art and I'd bet that you'd still be hard pressed to find anything similar to it today. You will notice that much of this stuff can be found in the C6 vettes (copy cats). Not only does it have video capability, but it also has record capability from up to four onboard cameras and even shows the vehicles performance on the screen to include G-Force measurement.
