I bought this car several years ago and used it for a while until it developed engine problems. I'm getting around to repairing all my cars, so I am updating my garage.
This is a rare car. The Corsa model was only offered in 1965 and 1966, and 1966 was the only year air conditioning was available. Air conditioned convertible Corvairs are hard to find.

While trying to get this car going again, I did some research and found that others have added GM throttle body fuel injection (TBI) and distributorless ignition system (DIS) to their Corvairs.
I have made a list of items needed and am sourcing the parts. I've also made an overall wiring diagram. The basic idea is to adapt two throttle bodies from a 80's-90's 2.0 to 2.5 liter 4 cylinder motor, the computer (ECM) from a 87-91 4.3L GM V6 truck, and the ignition system from a similar year range GM 2.8 or 3.1L V6. I plan on making my own harness, since there are only 31 wires total going to the ECM.
The high performance variation of this would involve some adapters and four 40-46mm throttle body units made by TWM. For the cost of one of those units, I can probably complete the entire GM used parts setup.
When I have completed this project, I will document it with photos and parts details on another webpage.

Prior owners installed Edelbrock 15" wheels and tires.

Still in planning/acquiring stages for TBI and DIS.
