Snuffles's 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle

My '71 Chevelle

1971 Chevrolet Chevelle

About this Current Vehicle:

I purchased the Chevelle when I was 16. Since then I've completely rewired the car and overhauled the interior. The paint and rims are going stay but the current 350/350/12-bolt setup will be changed. I have a 454ci and a M22 built and ready to go in, I just need to pick up a clutch, bellhousing, etc. The big block should be putting around 550-600 to the crank, however I'd be more than happy with around 500. The 12-bolt is the original rear with the original gears and it is very tired. So that will also be replaced with what I haven't decided yet.

Factory Options:

Basic Chevelle options with front discs, 'functional' cowl induction and tachometer.

Exterior Modifications:

One-off paint and Cragar SSs.

Interior Modifications:

Brand new everything, except the rearview mirror.

Performance:

N/A

Suspension/Chassis:

There are a few GW and Hotchkis suspension parts in my closet but it's bone stock for now.

Drivetrain:

'92 Hecho de Mexico 4-bolt 350 topped with a 750cfm Holley.
Stock TH350 and 12-bolt with 3.73s.

Electronics:

Every wire has been replaced in this car, almost.
I took some extra time and soldered all of the wires that belong to the head unit into a modular plug.
I then put the head unit in a box on tracks. This is so I can slide the box out, unplug the head unit and put the whole thing in my trunk for shows.
It's nice too because the tracks for the box cannot be seen unless you lay on your back.

The head unit is an Alpine unit. In the dash there are two 2" Lanzar and two 4x6" Polks.
In the back there are two 6x9" 4-way Infinitie References.
All of this is powered by three 125watt Rampage amps.

To-Do List:

N/A
