I've owned it for 10 years. Upgraded from 307/PG to a 330 hp 350/2004R. Currently undergoing a frame-up restoration.
power top
None. I'm going to keep the 307 badges, too.
Nothing yet beyond the addition of a few gauges. Future plans include changing from front bench to buckets and a console along with a completely new interior (after I finish fixing the RUST.
Swapped the tired 1974 350 SB (with a whopping 140 hp) for a freshly rebuilt 350 with a Comp Cams Magnum 278 cam and Edelbrock Performer intake, topped with a nicely tuned Quadrajet from Sean Murphy Induction and an HEI distributor. It's not a neck snapper but gives me decent performance.
completely rebuilt stock suspension with a PST kit including polyurethane bushings. Added a 1 1/8" front anti-roll bar from a 1978 Trans Am, and a steering box from a 1992 Caprice cop car. Brakes have been upgraded from 4 wheel manual drums to front power disks with 11" rotors.
The rear currently has 2.73 gears, which will be swapped for a 3.73 posi during the resto.
non functional cassette player. It doesn't even look good. The only reason I keep it in is to fill the ugly hole in the dash :)
