Bought this car on Juyly 22nd of 2006, and it was the best decision I ever made. I purchased it from City Chevrolet here in Oklahoma City, and it was on the lot a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes before I got it. The First owner (original) was some 60 year old lady, who decided to trade it in for a new Impala SS. Car had pretty low miles, for the age, and the paint was flawless. You can say it was love on first site. The only thing I would have done differently was the transmission... It is an automatic.

Well, after trying to go cheap on a DIY tune, and having help from other friends... I have just decided to pay for a 2bar SD tune. I am not really expecting huge numbers because it is about 100+ outside, and it will be on a mustang dyno. I just want to be able to drive the car again. Tune is scheduled for Aug 22, 2008...It would be sooner, but I am taking a trip back home.

Well, I have not posted much on the car in awhile. Was getting bad spark blow out on the dyno, and then I totally blew the turbo. I ended up breaking the shaft. Pulled the turbo.
I ended up getting a hold of a very nice look PT-74 turbo. Ceramic coating turbine housing, and powder coated compressor housing. Looks very pretty. This turbo is actually bigger than the last one. The compressor is a 4" inlet, and a 3" discharge. That is a full inch bigger on the inlet and 1/2" bigger on the discharge. Turbine housing is now on a .84, and that is compared to the .69 on the old unit.
Getting to the point. This thing is LOUD. Pitch and tone changed, and sounds killer. Something I was not expecting. Part throttle is more responsive. The old unit had no lag what so ever, and was almost to fast and sporadic. Now, this unit still does not have really any lag, but it seems to be smoother. I was able to control boost a little better. I have not taken it much higher than 3 psi yet. I am working on getting it tuned with pics, vids, and numbers.

As promised, I posted up some new pics of the setup. No fancy shooting, just a simple 5mp point and shoot digital camera. Car is in the garage, and I know it is dirty... So, just deal with it.
