ZZ Top - Hot, Blue, and Righteous...a perfect description of C-HOG.
"Hot, blue and righteous,
an angel called me aside.
Hot, blue and righteous,
said, "Stick by me and I'll be your guide."
I heard the words as I closed my eyes
down on my, down on my bended knees.
It fit like a glove and I realized
somethin' good's happenin' to me.
Hot, blue and righteous
angel called me aside.
Ooh, ooh, ooh."

Like many of your your car is your pride and joy. Certainly no day goes by that I don't appreciate what I've work hard for, to take a little pride in my efforts and enjoy the fruits of my labor. But I've got to tell you that everytime I go to work I cringe. Thankfully I go into town when the town is heading out and I'm heading out when they are heading in. This situation lends itself to lighter traffic during my commute as they are on the opposite work schedule I am. That doesn't rectify my concerns and apprehension about my drive to work and nothing I can do can change that.
I can't tell you how many times I've seen drivers do absolutely insane things while behind the wheel of their vehicle. Is it because they are late? Is it because they lost their navigational bearings and got lost? Or are they just plain old horrible drivers? Everytime I slip into the soft leather of C-HOG and let the engine warm up a bit I never fail to think, "Is this it? Is this the day some idiot takes my car out? What is going to happen?" Unfortunately there's not a whole lot I can do about. I've been a very defensive driver most of my years as a driver but there's one maxim I can't get out of my head; no matter how good you are there's always some idiot that will out-dumb you.

Had them put on last week and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. To be honest I wasn't sure if I'd completely like them or not as I've never been a fan of aftermarket wheels on cars. Sure, there have been some that I liked but I always found that I would become less enamored with those wheels after a certain amount of time had passed. When I saw the C6's they just clicked in my head. They look aftermarket yet stock at the same time. That's what I was looking for and I think they are a perfect fit. One caveat though; I don't think they look as good on a LS1 Camaro without the S.A.P. (gfx package) but look ok on a Trans Am. Something about the S.A.P. just makes the wheels seem to fit better in my opion.
Everything except CD changer, automatic transmission, and a couple of others I can't remember right now.
C6 wheels with Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta tires (front 275/35-18, rear 295/35-18), Z06 style Z28 decals, SLP grille, Magnaflow muffler with custom tips (the tips have been cut back 3.5" so it doesn't look like a truck).
None.
SLP lid, Magnaflow Cat-back.
Except for chrome C6 wheels, stock.
