About this Current Vehicle:

Hi, my name is Kristine!! I'm a 2002 Camaro Z28 M6 in black . I was born on June 14, 2002 at the GM St. Therese Plant in Quebec, Canada. A few weeks later I was shipped to a GM dealer in Lasalle, Ontario waiting for someone to give me a good home. The wait was not long as on July 15, 2002 some guy who goes by the alias of Switchblade purchased me. I have been under his service (er foot) ever since.

How I got the name Kristine was pretty funny. One of Switchblade's local friends specialized in engine tuning using SCT software, and wanted to perform the task on me. Switchblade approved the procedure and I was booked an appointment for the weekend. What should have taken a couple of hours to do wound up taking a whole day as I didn't adapt very well to the program - putting a low HP number on the dyno, followed by a very high HP number - alternating on each pull. Eventually I accepted the program after a long battle with my engine tuner who along with Switchblade was exhausted due to the hot and humid conditions during the day. Switchblade decided to call me Kristine after that day as I drove my engine tuner nuts during the procedure and as well in reference to the 1958 Red & White Plymouth Fury that terrorized people in the movie Christine. I gotten along really well with my engine tuner after that day as I accepted program upgrades with no fuss.

Switchblade provides me with 94 octane fuel, mobil 1 synthetic oil, and an assortment of cars - vettes, fbodies, mustangs, imports, and the occasional SUV or Pickup Truck to feast on.

I enjoy drag racing, road courses, autocross, crusing, and being driven to Switchblade's place of work.

Please feel free to see my specifications and modications as I'm still an ongoing project and these will change according.

Planning the next major upgrade

Well the last two years I've spent quite alot of time upgrading my Z28, basically replacing all the rear suspension pieces (torque arm, subframe connectors, lower control arms, new catback exhaust, y-pipe, shock tower bar, air intake, tuning, new wheels and tires). The end result was a car that exceeded my expectations so far - more enjoyable to drive which means alot more fun. The funniest part of all this is that some people think this car is an SS even if its parked next to one. Go figure.

No more upgrades will be planned for Z28 this year as I'm in process of researching for the right components (LT's heads & cam) to perform a major upgrade in 09. For now its track time (gotta get that 12sec timeslip) and the street for this car. Stay tuned for details.

the new turbo works flawlessly... It is everything else like oil drain, PCV, vaccum leaks, and the tune. It is coming along though.

You got a nice look Z yourself. Keep up the good work

Yes, Frisco88 I gotta drive the car abit more this year -lol!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've found that the subframes did help with stiffening the chassis which improved the handling allowed the car to launch better. I should have done this mod back a few years ag
