About this Current Vehicle:

I purchased the car on 12/31/06 from Sopp Chevrolet with 9700 miles. The car was apparently built as a 1 of 3 cars (5 were ordered) that Granatelli built for Matco Tools. I am the second registered owner.

The car dynoed at 308/326 shortly after purchasing, and after headers and a dyno tune, it hit 328/364. The best 1/4 mile time is 13.18 @107.90 mph.

Right now the car is decent in the 1/4 and does ok in car shows. My ultimate goal for this car is to make it a top show winner, in the 12 second range in the 1/4 mile, and a top competitor in auto cross.

Best 1/4 mile ET and MPH

At LA Invasion I ran for the first time on Mickey Thompson ET streets and got my best 1/4 time to date, 13.18 @ 107.90 mph. I know the car had more in it, as my best 1/8 mile time is slightly better than what this run got, and my 60' wasnt impressive, but overall the car ran ok.

Dyno Tune at Haddad Motorsports

After a dyno tune, the real wheel numbers are: 328 hp and 364 torque. They deleted the AIR code, removed the governor, remapped the air/fuel ratio, increased transmission line pressure, and adjusted shift points. The car has a much smoother feel.
