Idle through longtube headers, offroad pipe and cutout.
I bought it brand new in August 2001 with 17 miles on the odometer. It came with the Sport Appearance Package (ground effects). My dad helped my purchase it as a late graduation present when I was 18. I paid $5000 for the downpayment and half of the monthly payments.
I started with the basic mods like a Lid and catback/cutout. That netted me a 12.97@109.8 in cold March air. This was my first stick car, and I SUCKED at launching. She could have been much faster if I knew how to drive back then.
After a year, headers went on, with an U/D pulley. Best of 12.71@112mph. Not tuned after headers. Then in 2004 I put a B1 cam in, tuned it made 380rwhp. Best was a 12.3@115mph, with still shitty 60's.
I got tired of the small cam, so I swapped the mid-length headers to longtubes, and put a Comp 230/236 grind in. With the stock 10-bolt and 3.42's, it went a best of 12.11, and a best mph of 119.8....still shitty 60's.
After some suspension and a 12bolt with 4.33's, it went 11.58@119. This past spring I put a FAST 90/90 combo on, and a Meziere EWP on, broke 4.33s and replaced with 4.56's. After all was said and done, and I was finally putting mid 1.5x 60's, I went 11.33 last trip out, at almost 121mph with stock heads and stock bottom end.
Stock-13.6@103.4
5 yrs later-11.33@120.74
2.3 seconds/ 17mph improvement, not bad.

It was a sad night. I had to watch my pride and joy, my sweat and blood, my CHILD, being hauled away on a trailer. I know she's in good hands. She stayed somewhat local, and the guy was a friend of my friend, so I'll keep in touch and answer any questions he has about LS1's. I get all chocked up just thinking about it, knowing she's gone.

I love the scheme of your car, berger pannel, hockey stripes, black rims, with the red paint. It's a mean looking car. Have you ever thought about getting the slp grill. I think that would look sweet on your car. Anyways awesome car.
