Any car can be an SS, but only a Camaro can be a Z28!

About this Current Vehicle:

2000 Camaro Z28. Bought in Jan 03 w/ 17k miles on it. She has 56k now.. Garaged for two years while I was stationed in Germany. (Mileage updated 26 July 09)

Last Dyno was about 3 years ago.t only had 21k miles on it at the time of the dyno. She started naturally pulling a little harder at about 36k miles. I think she has finally been broken in. I've added some mods since then. The heads and cam made 441 rwhp and 372 rwtq. A little low, but I need a retune. Also new headers, heads and an intake. I know this cam can make 500 RW.
Please rate my car while you are here..

Dyno Tuned @ Texas Speed

The final numbers are low. I got ahold of the guy that designed the cam and he said that the TQ is low, it needs more fuel at the lower R's and at initial throttole snap to WOT. TSP TUned it to top RPM performance, it pulled 390 RWTQ on the third pull. THen he retuned it to the numbers I have now.. It needs a re tune.

FINALLY tried installing UDP.. WRONG ONE!!

SOFB!! TR went me a truck pulley.. It won't fit the crank snub and the depth is all off.. .

damn it.. Gotta send out for a damn exchange now.. I really wanted to drive this thing tonight. It' been like three weeks.. She's a garage queen now.. Spent two months detailing it.. Would you drive it daily after all that??!

It runs.. .

I got it running about two weeks ago, but I was so exhausted I didn't feel like posting it..

This thing pulls hard even with no tune.. I raced a Dragged out Dodge Dart last night from a 60 roll and pulled away from him like he was going backwards! Grin Grin

VERY STREETABLE!!!! Acts like a stock cam, but pulls a lot harder when you open it up...

I will only buy a Z28 just because of your headline.

In the mean time, I'll enjoy my SS, lol.

Great looking Z you have, 15 stars!

I've got some motor mounts but I'm going to let the dealership do those... I don't want to get my hands dirty with that one. I did all my other mods.
