Shuttin' Detroit Down
I got my Z28 in August of 06 with ~62,000 miles on it in near perfect condition. I upgraded from a 1996 Camaro 3.8L and wow....what an upgrade. I have alot instore for this car and it will undergo SEVERAL changes in the future, so stay tuned for details.

Well, I pulled the Z28 out today and started prepping her for the Summer Driving/Show season. I put the TTII's on, but I'm still waiting on the Stranos and Konis to show up here in a few weeks. I just washed her real quick and sprayed off under the hood to knock the dust off. Next up, a full exterior detail, full under hood detail where I'll re-polish all of the already polished metals, paint the lower airbox, bumper support, and back of the headlight housings, and clean the engine. Then, on to the interior.
I've got ALOT of work to do, but don't really plan on driving it until the suspension stuff comes in anyway. Then, I'll get her aligned and she's ready to roll! Plenty of new pics to come this spring/summer! I plan to hit up as many shows as possible, including the Fbody reunion in Ohio and possibly Carlisle. Also, may do some Autocross and road course racing this year. Have to see what time and money allows me to do.
Added a gallery of pics from today named "Comin' out of Hibernation" so be sure to check it out. How's she look so far? Stay tuned for more pics.

Picked up a set of Torq Thrust II's this past week. Got them mounted up, but no pictures yet. Once the weather gets nicer out, I'll have some new shots up. Also, I have some Strano Springs on order, and am about to order some Koni's as well. I'm considering painting my billet grille black and adding a blue bowtie, but am still undecided. Possibly tinting the blinkers up front, too. Any opinions on the latter two? Feel free to post up.
May 19
Well, this past weekend, Saturday the 17th of May, I took the Z28 to it's first car show. After 28hrs of detail work, I still wasn't happy with the paint, but took it anyway. I ended up actually getting a trophy for Top 25. Not too bad. But this has only provoked me to speed along the appearance modifications on this car. I'm still planning on doing the go-fast goodies, but it's gonna take a while to get the money together anyway. Hopefully I'll have some new pics soon as well.
