Hustle - Mac Dre ft Boss Hogg, B-Luv, & Husalah
On September 28, 2002, I took ownership of a 36,000 mile, t-topped, black on black, 1999 Z28. I was the 2nd owner of this Camaro, and it was my very first F-body.
This LS1 was absolutely flawless. It always looked great, garnered a lot of attention, and packed some serious punch under the hood. On my first and only trip to Infineon raceway in April 2004, I ran a 13.76 @ 103 mph ( 2.4 60' ) with crappy tires, worn clutch, and an all stock motor.
After bolt-ons, I still would never be able to top that time. I took several trips to Sac Raceway where hot temperatures and poor traction led me to only a top ET of 13.8 @ 106.
All good things must come to an end - I sold my Z28 on July 18, 2007 to make room for my new project car - my '85 Trans Am.
