I started working on the Camaro with the help of a good friend of mine a few years back. The car was built with a 427 LS6 stroker and a 350 shot of dope. After alot of money spent and alot of hard work we finally took the car on its maiden voyage to the track. First two passes on motor netted a 10.30. The third pass we sprayed the car and disaster struck. The car went on the rear bumper and started to veer towards the wall so he let off and when it came down it cracked the block in 3 different places and even broke off the starter mount. Additionally, the oil pan broke, one header was bent and even the transmission bellhousing shattered.
Currently I am working on a new combo for the car. The ET C5R heads have arrived and the sheetmetal intake will soon be built. Then its time to decide what block to use for the new setup....
