Not to many Bright Green Metallic F-Bodys out there and I'm definitely a proud owner of this one.
Well I've decided to for go my forced induction plans because no matter how hard and long I tried to swallow the price of FI, I just couldn't get over the though of being able to own a C5 or C6 Vette.
On a DynoJet the car registered 300hp/316tq with a LS6 intake and ported TB.

Long story short... the gears are in.
And DAMN did they wake this car up. I'm absolutely loving the feel of the stall and gears backed by a solid shifting transmission. I need to get it to a track now and see what it will do in the quarter mile.
I will post up a video after the gears have a few more miles on them.
Next weekend the car is getting a Tune by CJTunes, it should liven it up even more after the shift points at set correctly.

I did some research into the m6 conversion and ended up ordering a Performabuilt level II and their 9.5" 3200rpm lock up converter.
Reason I didn't do the 6 speed conversion is the initial cost of a built m6 or even a new factory spec one was expensive. Then the hassle of finding the tranny mount, pedals, clutch, flywheel and various other parts. Do it all just to blow my rear end out and then be shit out of luck because I blew all my money on the conversion.
Not saying the rear end won't blow up with the new setup but at least it will last longer.
My wife is calling it my Fathers Day gift. I'll take that!
Now i'm going to order som ARP bolts for the flexplate and torque converter. A differential rebuild kit and TA girdle to help keep the rear together a DS loop and some AMSOIL for it all.
Hopefully have it all installed and smoking tires by the end of this month.
And here I thought I was SOL this whole summer.
