About this Current Vehicle:
I started looking for an Fbody at the end of February 08. I found my Z on the internet in March 08. We drove 18.5 hours with truck and trailer to pick her up in Manassas, VA. It was well worth it! Very clean car, with 389XX miles on it. NO MODS at all. I can't wait to start making her my own!

First trip to the strip
Headed out to State Capitol Dragway on Sunday and put down 3 passes with the Z. It was a cold and windy but clear day. In the mid to upper 50's with a crazy headwind. I was nervous as all get out being my first time at the track. But Steve from Madman & Co helped me get lined up... The lights dropped and I decked it and spun for about the first 30' or so... Ended up running a 16.42 for my first pass. Lol. Gary asked if it scared me when the car started slidding and I said no. I knew all I had to do was let off and ease back into it and go. Next time I ran a 14.92. Cutting my time by a second and a half and getting a better feel for how the street tires were reacting to the track... By the third pass, Gary didn't think I'd break into the 13's so I didn't run with a helmet... I lined up against a fellow Get On It Racing forum member whose car is modded way more than mine and I finally felt comfortable in the seat. Pulled out a 13.40 @ 104 mph! I was very happy. By this time it was getting later in the afternoon, so I didn't run again. I can't wait to go back with sticky tires and tune (it hasn't been tuned since we installed the headers and exhaust)...

Officially Modded
Madman at Madman & Co racing got my headers, ory and Magnaflow catback installed on Saturday (1/3/09). Sounds great!! I absolutely love it and have to keep reminding my self to get outta the gas...
The windows are going to be tinted on this coming Saturday (1/9/08)...
Can't wait to get some new pics and some sound clips...

New Shoes
Swapped out the stock rims for chrome 10 spoke SS wheels. Got the bowtie centercaps for them. Put Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires on them. I've put about 300 miles on them this weekend and I'm very happy with them.
Next up is swapping out the rotors and brake pads and painting the calipers.
Hopefully will be getting the used headers I bought re-coated and will be installing them with the ORY and Magnaflow cat back soon

yes it is #3 out of 95 made in 98 hardtop 6spd no ss and no convert made it in this color
