I purchased this car when I was 18, back in December of 1999.
It's gone through several "mod" stages in life starting as the usual 13 second bolt-on car, to finally a 12 second bolt on LT1, a 12.0x cam only car, to its current stage as a heads/cam low 11 second car. I'm not sure it will ever be fast enough.
Full equipped, leather seats, 12 CD changer, every possible option except TCS.
Reflective "Z28" badges, Weld ProStars for the track (15x10 & 15.3.5)
Fan switch, Autometer dual A-pillar pod with Autometer oil pressure and trans temp gauges.
~11.6:1 compression 355 LT1
Mahle Forged Pistons, 6" Forged Scat I-beam rods, stock GM LT1 crank
Lloyd Elliot ported "LE2" heads, "LE3" Cam, and ported stock intake manifold
Comp 1.6 RR's, Beehive springs, and Comp Hi-tech pushrods
Hooker Longtube headers, X-pipe w/ bullets and dumps
SLP Cold Air Induction
BMR LCA's
Hotchkis Panhard Rod
Moser Ford 9" w/ Strange 4.11's
CPT Built 4L60E "Pro Race" w/ 4L65E front support and output shaft
Yank PT4000 converter
Waiting to be installed: Kenwood KDC-X591 HU, speakers to be decided on.
Dyno-tune, 6pt Roll-Bar, Better X-pipe setup with quieter mufflers, suspension...
