I pretty much bought this car on an impulse a few months after getting rid of my formula. I wanted a 6 speed, and I planned to spray the hell out of whatever I bought. When I bought it it already had the built bottom end for the gas. I drove up to Austin and picked it up around midnight one night with a couple friends.
Once I had it I put some new floormats in it, hooked up a dual nozzle nx kit, and just drove it a bit. It was a fun car, but I am pretty picky about cars. This one was not clean enough for me. It was going to take too much money to get the paint, body , and interior in the shape I wanted(like new). The other reason was that after having both LT1 and LS1 cars I could not stand working on an LT1! My god they are a pain in the ass. I think the engineers at GM were playing a joke on people when designing that engine for that engine bay. The joke was over when they dropped the ls1 in the 98's. It got SO much easier.
