About this Current Vehicle:

I picked up this sweet 96 z28, thanks to the help of the Utah F-Body Association. It's a great condition one owner car, with an amazingly low 65000 miles. Totally stock, older gentleman owner, not even one dent, its fantastic! And I only paid $3200 for it! Ha!

Whoa, gotta catch up...

Well since I was lacking on the internets for a while, I couldn't really update, so here's what happened while I was away....

1: Got that windshield fixed, so nice and clear.
2: Decided that she needs brakes asap, so once the bathroom remodel is complete, I'm going for that slotted rotors and hawk pads.
3: Took her canyon carving just the other day, she loved it. And made the owner of an early model M3 look dumb... +1 for me.

Of course, a setback...

So apparently I need another lesson in thermodynamics...

Basically, I decided to take my really hot, sitting it the sun all day hot, car and wash it. Lo and behold, if you wash your hot car with cold water, that little insignificant rock chip in your windshield turns into a 3 foot crack!

Not a big deal really, but it does cost money to replace, and that has to come from somewhere. Dang cars, I've only had it for a little over a month and I already need a windshield and new brakes.

First Photo Shoot!

So yeah, I know it's a stock car, but this is how you see what I've done and going to do. I decided to take here out and take her first real pics with the good camera. took the pictures May 29th. Put em all in the "First photo shoot" album.

Also glad to report, so far no losses aside from one from a modded Z28 (not a surprise since mine's stock)

Factory Options:

LT1 V8, Auto, Power Everything, Bose Sound, T-Tops, Cloth seats, ASR traction control and um, fog lights...

Exterior Modifications:

None, yet!

I'm thinkin, 93 ZL1 style hood, The GM RS style ground effects and the GM style 3 piece rear spoiler.

Repaint will be all green (loosing the two tone with the black roof/mirrors) except I'll keep the door handles and racoon eyes black.
68 Z28 logos and a billet grille with the same style logo on the left side for shows

Wheels are still up in the air, I'm thinking a set of Cray Scorpions in black. 17" in the front, 18" in the rear for right now, but I change my mind often.
Also I want a set of Prostars for my drag radials at the track.

Interior Modifications:

None

Maybe some racing seats and I'll need the A-pillar guage pods for my guages with the turbo.

Performance:

None, yet!

Soon to have basic bolt-ons, a hot cam, and a tune.

In the future I know I want to run some form of power adder, maybe a STS Turbo system? Who knows...

Suspension/Chassis:

None, yet!
Going for a softer, more drag friendly suspension setup.

Drivetrain:

None, yet!

Well when you add power, this breaks. So I'm thinkin an aftermarket 4l60e and a strange S60 will do great.

Electronics:

It has an aftermarket head unit that will work for now, but eventually I'm thinking a full 8.1 speaker setup (Thats 8 regular speakers and tweeters, with one sub)

To-Do List:

Everything!
