Well this all started after I ran my car off the road in a stupid moment of my life. Before the "accident" my car was 100% stock and a show car. After the "accident" the value of the was lessened. THEN the body shop the insurance reccomended did a HORRIBLE job, and the car was worth even less. I fought it and got most of my money back and a new bumper out of it. Since i had some extra cash, i di da few boly ons that made the car drop 1 full second off the 1/4 and suprised the hell ou tof a lot of people. I then started adding either home made ( i am a desinger // engineer) or used parts. I was also unemployed at the time, so the Broke Ass thing knda felt appropriate.
SO... THis year BAP is getting a new shop and the mods begin. THe iron block owners of our car club have joined forces and the Iron Block Mafia was formed to show that old tech is still fast
FOr my contribution to the IBM, i am doing full Exhaust (pacesetter LT's, dual magnaflow cats, brola with e-plate), a ton of suspension, brake upgrade and a probally some sort of power adder. the idea is to use the best quality parts and a competitive price (craigs list, ebay, f-body classifeds, friends, etc..) to make the car an all out show and go car.
