About this Current Vehicle:

the motor is a 383 with 4340 eagle rotating ass ,spayed caped hard blocked ,fully ported and polished heads with good vales scoripion rockers ,beehive springs,540 -544 cam ,36 pounds inj ,dual 58mm thottle body ,morso cold air ,eletric water pump,short tube headers ,custom exhaust with 3inch y pipe with 1 cutout .
trans is a 400 turbo with brake built by john ed in ashland and 4300 ssyank converter
rear is a 1966 impala rear built by me for the f body with mini spool moser axels and c-clip eleminaters ,richmand gear (390 ratio) ,moser yoke .
suspention i have qa1s in the front and summit 3 ways in the back,drag springs with drag bag,lift bars ,jegs adj tourqe arm ,jegs sub frame connectors .
2 kit of nos 1 plate of 150 shot and 1 efi nozzel kit usallly set at 200 shot and i like to use both at 1 time .
wheels are draglights with 3 1/2 in the front with 8 inch in the back with 28-11.5x15 hoosier qick time pros .
the best et in the 1/8 on motor was 7.51 and a 7.00 on the shot dont remember what size but blowing through the conveter (the new yank will fix that this year )dont have any good 1/4 mile time i was broke when i ran the 1/4 but it was way off with a 11.82
still has air condition and power seats and all the factory stuff on it nothing deleted .

Ok i guess i have never heard of anyone doin that before, from the looks of your launch it seems to work great! Not to mention im sure its a hole lot cheaper! thanks for info. Oh by the way i was over at tri state in ross ohio, do you ever go there?

QJETER i cut the peice off the old rear and welded it to the new one . i ground it so it would fit flat and used a gas power welder and welded it on .
