About this Current Vehicle:
My 92 Z/28. This is a former gmhtp feature car(jan 2000, page 24-27), former nmca f/efi record holder(et an mph). Best et was a 9.20 at 146 on a 250 shot, 5.70 1/8 mile on true 10.5 m/t slicks. Its time to get her back in action! Gettin her ready for some local Drag radial action. New cm sfi legal cage, new S.O.S suspension pieces, aftermarket kmember an front suspension parts. Car used to wiegh 3550 w/driver. Should be a lot lighter with all the new parts.
Factory Options:
ac, cruise, ps, pw, pdl, ps, tilt, airbags, 4whl disc brakes.
Exterior Modifications:
6" Cowl hood, and weld wheels all around. 15x3 and 15x10w/5.5 bs.
Interior Modifications:
Hurst quarter stick shifter in console. full 10pt cage w/window net an harness. Summit racing seats with Summit cloth covers.
Performance:
1/4, 9.20 AT 146. 1/8 mile 5.70.
Suspension/Chassis:
Stock suspen. koni spa1s and moroso dragsprings up front. Rear is stock springs, 3way adj., rear shocks, an hotchkiss boxed lower control arms. Thats all it has for now. Complete redo coming.
Drivetrain:
406 sbc, bowtie block, diamond 12.1 comp pistons, eagle rods an crank. Afr 227 heads. Turbo 400w trans brake, 3500 continental conv. Currie 9" with 4.10 gears and a lightweight spool.
Electronics:
Just a old msd 6al, and a Accel dfi vers 6.32.
To-Do List:
New sfi legal funnycar cage, new front suspension, kmember,a/arms,coilover conv., racing brakes front and rear. mini tubs to fit a 315 dr. Bigger sbc or Lsx stroker.
