I was 15 and just started looking around for a cheap car. I wanted a V8 car that had some "balls" but nothing too big for a new driver. I orignally wanted a fox body but they were a too much for me at the time. I saw this Z28 sitting at a BMW dealer on my way to Taco Bell. The owner hated the car because it ruined the image of his dealership so he basically gave it to us for nothing. The car is still a money pit even after fixing it up, but it's worth every penny.

The Camaro has been resting in my garage with a crippled tranny. However, it's going under the knife this coming monday; a full rebuild! Thicker internals, and a higher stall. The rebuild is around $1500 but it's money well spent, the technician is a classic professional, he's not any of these Wyotech/UTI duds.
