NonPoint - In the Air Tonight
This is my newest project. I was fortunate to run across this car right after I sold my 1989 RS Convertible, and just couldn't pass this up. It was a good friend of mine's old car, and he had sold it about 8 months earlier to his landscaper. His landscaper came to the conclusion after driving it very little (under 600 miles) that it was not something he needed. I picked it up for 3800.00 and haven't looked back. Its a 1991 Camaro Z/28 Convertible, with every factory option you could get just about.
The car is Black on Grey Leather, with a black top. I am the 4th owner, the last owner having owned it for only 10 months, and the owner previous to that for only 11 months. The car has a fair amount of power, and is a blast to drive!!!
Future plans will be updated as I get them. As will photos.. now all i need is some hot thing to pose on it. Any volunteers?

Well i've been fighting a mysterious "too much fuel" situation.. turns out it was actually 2 different problems.
1, the fuel pump i put in on 4/18/08 was bad. Therefore, I had to put another in.
2. the 02 sensor is bad. I am going to be fixing this soon. As a temporary work around, i've been driving it with the 02 unplugged. it feels like it fixed the "loading" up issue, but I wont totally know until i replace the 02 and get it running right. I hope to have this done soon, but with the purchase of the new G8, funds are short.
In other news, the dang convertible top is slowly deteriorating, which is to be expected, but i had hoped to get about 4 years out of it when i bought the car. sadly thats not going to happen, so i'll have to go ahead and start saving to replace it. as a work around, I'm manually re-stitching the plastic window in, as the problem im having is that the stitching is coming out around teh back window.
I really wish i had enough money to paint, re-interior, and re-top. that with a set of rims and i'd be content for a good while.

Well, about two weeks ago on the way to work the car cut out on me while taking a turn about a mile from my work. I was like Uh Oh. Sure enough it cranked back up and got me to work though. Once there she wouldnt start. Had to tow her home. Well I had a hunkering that it was the fuel pump, so I ordered a BBK High Volume in tank pump from SummitRacing.com Great pump. not too bad a price either. It turns out its still made by Walboro, but its all good.
While dropping the rear axle, the exhaust and the fuel tank, I figured it was time to finally put on the ol rear Shocks i had laying around in my storage room. I had a set of KYB Gas AGX adjustable rear shocks that were brand new, so I went ahead and put them on too. Then I since i was there, I went ahead and put on the rear sway bar end links, by Energy Suspension. It turned out real nice, with the red shocks and red polyurathane bushings on the end links. Later to come will be Spohn LCA's Panhard, Torque Arm, and also Sway Bars themselves.
All went in without much fuss, except bleeding the brakes, which i had to buy new valves to do so.. one was stuck. I purchased the Self bleeders, and voila, it went without a hitch. love it. great fun. Car is back on road as a daily driver.

I figured it was time for an update, so here it is.
Since I purchased her, Ive recovered the bottom of the Drivers seat. I also changed out all the dash lighting to RED Led's. they're bright, and look great at night. not hurtful to your eyes or anything.
I've also replaced the Transmission mount with an Energy suspension polyurathane mount.
Other things include removal of the Smog Pump(largely because it locked up on me) and installation of A Texas Speed and Performance Exhaust with dual Magnaflow tips.
The car sounds great, and is a blast to drive. I only wish i had the funds currently to put new wheels on her, and a fresh coat of black paint. All in time i guess.
