My '91 Z28 was my first car at the age of 16. I'm now 20 and I've been able to upgrade a few things on the car over the last few years. I've recently bought a Silverado for a daily driver, and was able to put the Z28 on a classic car insurance policy after it was appraised at $12,000.
My Camaro is a Preferred Group 3 car, making it one of the most expensive/optioned convertibles in 1991. It came equipped with power everything, including the driver's seat. It has Dove Grey leather interior, came with factory floor mats, had the FE2 suspension package with the Wonder Bar that was originally found on IROC-Z's. Every check box was checked except for the CD player and manual transmission.
I bought the car from Jim Trenary Chevrolet, in St Charles MO. It was a trade-in vehicle that had 32,000 miles on it. The dealer had the car sitting out front with their new cars. My dad and I were driving home from church one Sunday afternoon and it caught our eyes and within a week I had it. It's been a huge part of my teenage years ever since. I've taken it to a few car shows, local and nationwide. It gave me a Runner Up in the stock 3rd gen class at the National Camaro and Firebird Reunion in Bowling Green, KY in 2006.
For the most part I have left the car stock. but I will list the few modifications that I have done in the Vehicle Specs section. Thanks for reading.
