My first car was a red 88 camaro sport coupe that I got right before I turned 16. A friend of mine liked it so much, than he would up buying a red 87 camaro IROC-Z28 when we were both 18. 3 years later he decided he wanted to get rid of it, and I sold the sport coupe and jumped on it. So I've owned it for 7 years, but the car has "been in the family" for 10.
It was an original red exterior, red interior car. Hardtop, well optioned 350tpi/auto transmission, 3.27 9 bolt rear. About the only thing left stock is the rear and that's on the chopping block.
SLP ZR1 style wheels with proper backspacing for a thirdgen. red out taillights, 4 inch cowl hood, 4th gen Z28 badges.
Redid the entire interior from red to black/grey including a grant steering wheel, seats from a 97 camaro, new carpet and all interior parts and a full stereo.
all forged 4 bolt 355, ported 2.05 bowtie 2 heads, custom grind blower roller cam, paxton blower, holley stealth ram, tpis 58 mm throttle body, 42 lbs accel injectors, holley commander 950 ecm with integrated wideband O2, slp 1 3/4" headers, hollow cat, custom 3" full exhaust.
jegster style (mac) torque arm with driveshaft loop, lakewood adjustable panhard rod and lower control arms, all poly bushings, spohn t56 trans crossmember, weld in subframe connectors, denny's driveshaft.
94 T56 6 speed manual transmission - rebuilt by me, LT4 corvette clutch setup, centerforce flywheel, pro 5.0 shifter, lou's short stick shifter handle
1.5 din pioneer head unit, MB Quart speakers in the dash, blaupunkts in the b pillars, a 10" dual voice coil JL audio sub in a hatchback box in the hatch well. powered by crossfire 35x4 and a kicker 65x2 amps, autometer electronic programmable speedometer.
tuning, rearend, paint.
