I bought my car from a private seller, it was a mess. I was 18 at the time. It started but didn't stay on. I new right away it was the carb and it needed to be rebuilt. Silly me I brought it to Pinallas carb and it cost me nearly 300 dollars. I did it only to find out I could have bought a whole different carb. The car was bought for 950 dollars and to date has totalled to about 5000 dollars including a replacement rebuilt motor (350) and a transmission (700r4)
Power driver seat, power windows, power mirrors, power door locks, ac, power trunk door, and i think that it is it.
I just got it repainted
this is an area that needs to be improved
more to come but a high flow oil pump, torquer cam, flat top pistons, double roller timing chain, high flow water pump and a 160 degree thermostat. I have an accel distributer and coil. I just purchased some bosch platnum spark plugs, K&N filter. I plan to put headers and a magnaflow muffler and delete the catalytic converter from my exhaust. I also in the near future want to drop the car an inch and add some dress up parts.
This is an area i have to work on but my only two mods are moog ball joints and a falcon idler arm. I changed the traction bar. I plan to upgrade my torque arm, put kyb struts and shocks and eibach springs. Polyurethane bushings too of coarse
I have a rebuilt 700r4 tranny capable of supporting 600 horsepower and a 350 4 bolt main. I think I will eventually have to add a detroit true track system to my stock rear.
Pioneer head unit, 2 110watts in the dash, 2 220 6x9's in the rear panels. more to come!!!
I plan to change the head unit I currently have to a flip up moniter dvd, cd, mp3, gps system. Also a pioneer. Add an amp more speakers and custom subs in the trunk area.

Nice to see that Camaro at least found a nice home. It's a lot of work restoring a car, but in the end you'll take a look at it and know all the hard work and sweat was worth it. That's what cars like these are all about.
nice car..i know the feeling with thirdgens

I used to own a 89 and I put so much money into it, it was time to say bye bye
