About this Previous Vehicle:

This is my 2002 SS! As some of you have seen from my other vehicle, I had a 2000 Z/28 that was my pride and joy...But some buttwhole ran a red light and totaled me out!

At first I was VERY upset! But after a brief moment of mourning, I decided it was time to find a new F-body. My dream car from high school was a black SS with T-tops and a six speed. With my old Z gone it was now time to begin the search. I looked around for weeks, and saw some very nice cars, but this SS was exactly what I wanted! The car had all the mods that my old Z had (and a few more) so I did not have to start over from scratch.

I LOVE this car, even more than my old Z (which I never thought possible)...And I hope you all enjoy also.

Wet Kit Installed

On January 19th me and my two best buds worked all day and got the kit installed. I'm currently running a Harrisspeedworks WetPlate on a 150 shot. The install was relatively easy. The plate, 'noids, and lines were all ran and installed in just a couple of hours. The bulk of the project was the wiring. Between the BMN window switch, fpss, bottle warmer, etc. it was quite a mess for a bunch of nitrous newcomers. But my friend Travis jumped in head first and got it all figured out. He single handely wired the entire setup. It came out VERY clean with minimal amount of wires showing.

On January 22nd I dropped the car off at D&G Dyno in Hennessey, OK. Dewayne (the owner) is one of the most knowledgable late model performance gurus in this part of the state. Dewayne hooked me up with a custom speed density tune via EFILive and first got some awesome N/A numbers. The car put down 405/385 to the rear wheels on a Mustang Dyno! Then he began to spray. With EFILives new Vs. 5 custom tuning, Dewayne was able to save my N/A tune and with the flip of a switch (via my HSW switch plate) the timing is pulled 6 degrees and fuel is added to support the nitrous. With the 150 shot the car made 520/583 to the wheels! That's almost 200 more ftlbs. of torque to the rear wheels!

I picked the car up on January 25th, but unfortunately since then I have had issues with the BMN window switch picking up a tach signal. I'll have updates and more kills coming soon.

HSW Wet Plate Kit

Just ordered all the stuff I need to convert my single nozzle dry kit to a wet plate kit! I'm going to run a 150 shot and I'm very excited! HarrisSpeedWorks is second to none in my opinion!

The dry shot was a good idea, but my tunning options are limited (NO TUNNING OPTIONS BASICALLY). So I made the decision on 10/29/07 to make the switch after talking to my tunner. I'm going with a speed density tune from EFI Live and hope to make a little over 550 RWHP!
