I bought this '98 Camaro SS for $6,700 cash on October 11th 2008, and couldn't be happier. This is only the beginning, I've waited 3 years for a Camaro SS, and I plan on building it right. Even if it takes 5 years to finish it, it will be exactly how I want it to be.

Going into Storage Soon
So I never got to take the car to the strip this summer. Right after I installed the new Transmission, I started having rearend problems.
A Moser 12 Bolt is on the menu for this winter so stay tuned.

Transmission is Finished, Converter Restalled, Yellowtop, etc.
So, The Transmission built by Finishline is done, My Converter is at Yank getting the blades cut and cleaned, and they're restalling it from a 2800 to 3000. Everything will be done on Friday, and I'll have the Trans back in the car Saturday night.
I replaced my entire Poitive/Negative Cable set and it still did not fix my Voltage problem. The last thing I've landed on is that I was sold a bad Redtop Battery through my friend. Luckily my girlfriend is buying me a brand new Yellowtop Battery.
After the Transmission is broken in, I'm taking the car to Route 66 Dragway and finally seeing what she runs

Black Z06 Rims, FLT 4L60E Stage 4, and Electrical Problems
A Lot has happened since I went to the Track in April. I'll sum it upas best as I can. My current Transmission has slowly, but gradually presented problems again, leading me to believe that my builder fucked something up. Everytime the car downshifts and upshifts, I hear a loud clunking noise coming straight from the Transmission, oh, and not mention 4th Gear magically disappeared with no Check Engine Lights or explanation. No more fucking around, I ordered a Stage 4 Transmission through Finish Line and it should be done in 2 weeks.
I FINALLY got my new 18x9.5 powdercoated Z06 Rims, as you can see in the pictures. The rims are awesome, but the BFGoodrich Drag Radials I put on the rear simply didn't work as well as I'd hoped. I'm swapping them out next month for some Nitto NT05's.
And for quite a while now, I've been having Voltage problems. Start up the car, and the volts are great, probably between 14-15 volts. But once I drive around, the volts drop to around 12-13, and sometimes as low as about 9-10 volts. I have an Optima Battery that passed 2 different Battery tests with flying colors, pumping out about 900 CCA. I also just replaced the alternator, which had no affect on this matter, so now I'm left with finding Corrosion or a bad connection in my Battery Cables. Wish me luck...
Once the new Transmission is in, and with some new Tires, expect to see a mid to low 13 sec. Quarter Mile time on the left.

Your car licks sick with the black wheels!! I like the stall you use, my first T/A (2000 WS-6) had the 4L60E and i ran the Yank SS3600 with a B&M cooler. I miss that setup! My T-56 can be a pain.
