Purchased in '98, the car was set up for drag racing with a 350 on NOS, reverse valve body Turbo400, 4.56 gears. Fun in a straight line but I want the car to be fun turning too. Check out pro-touring.com.
Currently working on the interior, need to fix the floor under the rear driver's side seat. Also cleaning 40+ years of grime off the underside of the car, it's fun...
4 speed, manual steering and brakes (drum front brakes),
Real RS/SS 350
Originally white with a black vinyl top and black bumble bee stripe
Originally red
Car was drag raced for several years before I bought it.
To be installed:
Wayne Due C4 chassis, QA1 coil overs front, DSE mini-tub kit with 3" lowering leafs in the rear.
LSx with a 5-speed & 12-bolt rear
Just the bare necessities
A lot!

Not yet, I haven't worked on the car much over the past year - once Spring rolls around I hope to get busy again. I'm in the process of cleaning the underside of the car. Cutting for the frame connectors and mini tubs should be soon.
Have you started the mini tub yet? I have cut the floor pans for DSE subframe connectors, mini tub is next.

Boy this looks familiar!! I'm working on my DSE firewall plate right now. Keep us updated with pics.
looks like an excellent candidate for a nice project. I will watch it come to life as time and $ allow.
Good luck with the first gen. It takes a long time and a lot of money to get them right, but when you do, its all worth it.
Great project car! Best of luck with it.
Way cool projert keep the pictures comin.
I'm thinking 17" rims, with a 315 or 335 tire.
