Purchased in '98, the car was set up for drag racing with NOS, reverse valve body Turbo400, 4.56 gears. All that is coming out and being replaced with an LSx motor, 5 (or 6) speed, Wayne Due subframe, etc. making the car a G-Machine.
Check out pro-touring.com
Currently working on the interior, need to fix the trans tunnel and floors. Also adding weld-in subframe connectors and minitubs.
4 speed, manual steering and brakes (drum front brakes),
Real RS/SS 350
Originally white with a black vinyl top, thinking of repainting blue without the vinyl top
Originally red, re-skinning in black
Car was drag raced for several years before I bought it.

looks like fun!!! cool project!
Boy this looks familiar!! I'm working on my DSE firewall plate right now. Keep us updated with pics.
looks like an excellent candidate for a nice project. I will watch it come to life as time and $ allow.
Good luck with the first gen. It takes a long time and a lot of money to get them right, but when you do, its all worth it.
Great project car! Best of luck with it.
Way cool projert keep the pictures comin.
I'm thinking 17" rims, with a 315 or 335 tire.
Looks good, I can't wait to see it done, btw what size rims and tires you going to run with that mini tub?
Looking at your project I remember the days like yesterday. It will come together, and by the looks of your other rides it will be it top shape before we all know it. Great Garage pic's keep them comming.
Sweet project. Looks great so far.
