Buddy Holly - Heartbeat
This vehicle is one of 79,954 produced in 1991. The vehicle was built in Van Nuys, California were it was then quickly sent to Japan (the vehicle was born with Japanese specs). This great looker but not so great performer was equiped with a low powered LO3 that just made 170 H.P. @ 4,000 RPM, and 255 Foot Pounds of Torque @ 2,400 RPM. This may seem low compared to the classic muscle cars or todays super cars but back in the 90's this was big power. It was 192.2 inches long, 50.4 inches tall, 72.4 inches of width, and a wheel base measuring 101.0 inches. After its long life over in Japan the car was shipped over to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (U.A.E.). I have lived in Dubai for just over six years now and wanted a project car before I could even walk. When my freind told me the opertunity to have this great RS for just under $3,000 from a buddy of his i could not pass up the offer. I rushed over to the dealer were I put the down payment on it. A week later I had it. The vehicle is currently going under a full restoration/modification in my small car port. Hopefully she will have lots more balls, and be a lot cleaner when I am done with her.

Great 3rd gen!
The hose that runs from the passenger side valve cover to the side of the airbox I just unhooked and replaced w/ a breather. You can see it in the pics if you look close enough.
For the sensor running to the bottom of the air tray I just removed it f
Nice ride and I gave you another 15 stars to get your ratings up, If you have a chance I would appreciate you rating and commenting on mine, Thanks
nice camaro, my dad has the same year and color
buddy thanks for the comment but parts in Dubai suck i have to import everything or buy it all when i go back home each summer and bring it back in my suit case
How is the parts situation in Dubai for these? I know that GM Egypt imported 77 or so Malibus back in the day, but I thought they mostly imported Aussie GM stuff nowadays and in the day that these were sold.
thanks man buddy is the best the music died on feb. 3rd 1959 when we lost j.p. richardson, velens, and holly.
