I bought this car in August of '07. This is actually my fourth Camaro, but my first red one (the others have been white). I had to sell my 98 while living in Boston--she just didn't go in all that snow *sigh*. I basically ended up coming to the conclusion that I was not willing to wait for the fifth gen. Could I wait? Yes, but it's a question of want, right? This will eventually be handed down to my son who is currently 14, and he has a waiting problem just like his mother!

Earlier this month I had ordered the first of many on my wish list of modifications, which were a shorty antenna and stainless rear Camaro lettering. This was my first day off/decent weather combination, so I figured I'd better get on it. Unlike the wheelskin fiasco, everything went without a hitch.....not that I expected any problems. I'm very pleased with the way the car is beginning to look, and I can't wait for more!!!!

This was a Christmas gift. Not a bad one, it was just from someone who only knew I wanted something for the car and ran with their own idea. Let me just say, I've never done so much freakin' sewing in my entire life. This was a pain in the ass to apply. Not in the sense of difficulty, but time-wise.....and what REALLY didn't help matters is that the stupid needle BROKE about half-way through the process. So, with 15 feet of string (ok, may more like 4 or 5) wound and placed ever so carefully on the passenger seat, and the stupid skin hanging half-way off, I drove to Walmart to pick up a set of needles to finish the job. Do you think the company would be nice enough to supply an extra needle "just in case"--hell no. By the time I got home the 15 feet of neatly wound string found its way into a big hairy knot--probably from all the turns. After some more choice language I got a grip and finished the job. What should've taken about an hour ended up lasting two-and-a-half. Stupid needle!

For the exterior I'd like to add a shorty antenna, stainless Camaro lettering, blackout kits all the way around, window tint, rims, and the 35th Anniversary vinyls. As far as the engine goes, I'd like to get some additional horses here and there which is one of the reasons why I ended up on this site. I'm fairly descent with maintenance, but modifications are entirely new to me.

nice ride... 15 Stars to help your ratings...
nice ride you have there!
Nice clean well taken care of car. Love the T-tops. Decide on ultimately what you want for power then go from there. If you want a few more here and there no big deal....get bolt ons, if you want something more serious, then a cam, a power adder...etc wil
Mine are the cheap off-brand. You really can't see them in the daylight.
If you do get them, get the real ones.
Love the red camaro
Thanks for the comment man, if your looking to get some easy power out of it, look into a cat back , with a high flow cat, and a whisper intake lid. Anyways great pick up, paint looks good why do you wanna repaint it???
Thanks and that clip was taken the day I got it, headers are going in soon
LOL, I know how you feel about the waiting problem... At this moment, my GTO is sleeping in my garage. I want to take it out for a spin so badly, but I absolutely positively won't let any of that road salt touch it, lol. So unfortunately for me, I have
