This was my first car. It was an auto, cloth interior, and T-tops. It slowly turned into a race car before I eventually sold it because it became too much of a money pit. It was turned into a 5 speed manual in 2001ish. I then did a number of mods to the V6 and held the record for fastest manual V6 for some time. It had a cam, 4.10's, stock tune, stock heads/intake, etc. It was really amazing it ran 13's with so few mods honestly. I had to get a cam small enough that it would run with the stock tune because all we had available was a hypertech. Then I bought a junk yard LS1 and 4L60 trans combo for it, did all the work myself in my half brothers garage. The ONLY experience I had was watching my buddy Magnus do a V8 swap on his V6 FBody. So I tackled it all alone in a garage with a $30 set of china made hand tools my grandpa gave to me. Then it underwent many mods over the years, it ran a best of 11.5 stock internals, stock ls1 intake, just headers, yank 4400 PT stall, and a 9" with 4.11's in it. Weight reduction was the name of the game! If I could rip it out, I did haha. Then I put a huge cam in it and a TH400 with a brake, and it still did 11.5's due to the TH400 having a crap 1st gear compared to the 4L60. Then I decided to turbo it and that project took everything in me and finally I gave up and bought a vette.
