This car was built by average joes that just want a fast car without eating up their life savings. Only 13K out of pocket, and the rest was aquired through the barter system,(AHHHHHHHHHH I love the barter system!!!!)

I think we got her fingered out...
After several attempts to get this car down the track at a 10.00, we FINALLY got it figured out.
Went to the track Sun., and got a new personal best of 9.95@133.45!!!!
We're ready to change a little timing, and run dead-on 10.00
First race of the season is this Sat.,May 31st.
If your in the area of Il. or In., come on out to U.S. 41 Dragway.
We'll be there, stop by and just say hi...
Especially you girlz that like to have your picture taken with a FAST car!!!LOL

WTF????
We got the beast to the track this last weekend...
Car ran like shit!!!!
We tuned on that fucking Demon carb till we were blue in the face, NOTHING!!
Took down the carb #'s, and called Demon...
Turns out, we have too big of a carb for our motor..
A frustrating day at the track for nothing!!!!
Today, we're taking the Demon off, and rebuilding the Holley, and getting this thing out to the track ASAP!!

Fired the car up for the first time this year last night.
Not happy about hearing it thru bullet muffs, but we have to have them to run our class.
The Demon Carb we installed still needs quite a bit of tuning, it's quite different from the Holley we ran last year.
A new batch of fresh pics coming soon, so stay tuned!! LOL
Factory Options:
There is NOTHING factory about this ride!!!!!!!!!!!!
Exterior Modifications:
F/G front nose, hood, deck lid. Doors have been gutted out for weight. 10 point roll cage, sub frame connectors, and alot of custom hand fabrication.
Interior Modifications:
It's a damn race car!! How many interior mods can be made with NO interior?!?!?!
Performance:
We have had this car to the track several times since first posting this vehicle.
It has proved to be a SOLID 10.0 Index car.
As of this posting, we are very happy with the results we have gotten for the time and money invested.
Even with what we WOULD have paid for the shell and motor, how many guys out there are building 10.00sec. race cars for under 20k?
Suspension/Chassis:
Factory front suspension, Caltrac rear suspension in stock mounting location.
Drivetrain:
Beefed P/G w/Pro-Brake, 10 Bolt w/ 4.56 gears
Electronics:
Full guages, MSD 6al and Retard boxes, 2-step box, probrake and line lock
To-Do List:
Car is completely redone, and fresh for 2009
