1979 Camaro (formerly 350 blow-thru carb setup)
L92 twin 66mm turbo conversion in progress
238/242 cam forged shortblock
TH400, 3.73 gears, 8 point cage (for now)
Fiberglass front end grafted to OEM inner fenders.
No pins or dzus fasteners! Getting there....
Started the project as a bare bones rolling chassis in 1999.
Factory Options:
Who knows, it is a streetable race car that should be in the single digits by the end of summer 2009
Exterior Modifications:
Custom fiberglass front end and 4" cowl hood

8 point cage, and custom sheetmetal dash by myself

TRZ control arms, Qa1 Shocks up front, Caltracs on rear
12" front disc upgrade, 11"rear drums
Drivetrain:
6.0 L92 twin turbo, TH400 trans, custom 10 bolt 8.5 rear with 30 spline axles
Electronics:
Factory 99 truck PCM and custom harness
will use HP Tuners for tuning 120lb injectors
running e85 ethanol fuel
To-Do List:
plumb fuel system, run harness and relocate coils.
Kill as many sets of tires as I can get my hands on this summer !!!!

I am running two Borg 66mm units rated for 800HP each, so I should have plenty of headroom.
The goal was to keep backpressure as low as possible in an effort to keep the heads down.
My wallet can't afford making enough HP to max out the turbos!
Sick... Just Sick... What size turbo's u going to use?
Killer project Camaro. Sometimes I think about seling all my ProCharger stuff and going TT. How goes it?? Looks great from the pics.
