It is starting to seem there is much more work than anticipated on the old '76. Everytime I look at the car it seems like I find one more thing that is only a few bolts away from what I am already working on to fix or upgrade.
As of now the whole front of the car only has a few bolts holding it together. Radiator and fan are out and the front end is basically jsut resting in place. The engine has also had the carb and headers pulled off and all openings into the engine have been duct taped over for winter.
The motor should be out some night next week, now I jsut have to wait for my new cam and other toys to show up and the real fun will begin
Have been removed. I have a design for a compact front sindshield defogger layed out. i have to grab a few more components and then wait until the dash is reasembled to see if my theories and design are solid. If it works you can all expect to see a full tech article on the design and fitment to be found at www.NJFBOA.org

Everything is getting cleaned up. I am at the point of making final decisions about what seats and such to install. I am also thinking i may as well just go ahead and plan to have the roll bar installed since I will get kicked out first pass without it.
GMPP Crate Engine + Small Nitrous Shot
Some weight reduction as well.
Lakewood 90/10 fronts and 50/50 rears, Soon to have Caltracs and Calvert Racing composite monoleaf springs.
My 200-4R core is cleaned up and ready to be built by the folks at www.dynotechperformance.com It will be their best rebuild and hopefully enough to last a very long time.
I am also pulling the rear out this week to sell. Hopefuly i can save up a few bucks and get a 12bolt or similar w/4.10 gears in there before the season starts in march.
The only things that were electronic in the car were the speakers and head unit, they have been removed in the name of weight reduction. :D
