About this Current Vehicle:

Purchase the vehicle on 8-16-07 from a clubgp member in Michigan. Steal of a deal. Later found out the car was previously owned by Dave Winterhalter (WPI Performance) and has already seen the 12 second mark with a different engine/trans. Lets see if eventually I can get the car back there.

Vehicle Journal:

Challenge thrown down, challenge accepted

After much debate on local forums, I was told my car wouldnt see 13s without slicks. After a whopping 2 passes at the track on street tires, I beg to differ.

Nothing new added since my last trip to BOP in the spring.

Jun 01

Spring BOP

So today was spring BOP at GLD. Ran with a stock pulley today. Didnt do as hot, but still was running 14.3s and a couple 14.2s. Was knocked out the first round of bracket racing as well. Car was running as good as it could, but needed a driver mod today. LOL.

Since the last outting, I added the 3" catback, northstar throttle body, and LQ4 MAF.

Apr 12

First dyno

Today the car dynoed 215 WHP and 255 WTQ on a Mustang dyno. Using the 1.12 conversion to make it more dynojet like numbers, that is 240 WHP 285 WTQ! Not bad considering the mods and the use of the stock 3.8 supercharger pulley.

Very nice. As a long-time Buick fan, I'd love to build a sleeper GS myself.
